Happy birthday Selma!
Our mother fell mysteriously in love with Scandinavia after escaping from a depressingly boring three year stay in Køge, Denmark. These were the red-and-white years of youth and freedom for me and your brother. I just assume our father was happy too, I don't really know. Unfortunately, our mother didn't share our joy. She didn't manage to find a job and became thoroughly depressed. Three years later we found ourselves back in Groningen, the Netherlands. Whenever we could afford it, our holidays were spent in Denmark, Sweden or Norway. Then, when you were born, our mother named you after the famous Swedish writer Selma Lagerlöf.
Now, little sister, you are a woman grown, and in dire need of a jewelry set. So there I went thinking: Selma Lagerlöf, Nils Holgersson, geeze, right? Let's make a jewelry set with lots of geeze. Upon very discreetly informing after your opinion on geeze, you shocked me by stating
"geeze are foul and ugly creatures, I hate them!"
So now, on this website, I will take you on a journey to explain how Selma Lagerlöf, rock art from the Bronze Age and your personal jewelry set Selma Rocks are connected. Enjoy your travels!
